So the good news is that the spanish version of My Friend Dahmer is up for Best Foreign graphic Novel at the Salón del Cómic de Barcelona. The bad news is so is Chris Ware's Building Stories. So it's another opportunity to get steamrolled by that magnificent genius fucker's magnum opus! To date I've lost Harvey and Reuben Awards to Ware.
It appears Mi Amigo Dahmer has sold quite well. But I'm not being brought over, either for the Barcelona fest or for a book tour. The Spaniards all all broke, of course, since their economy collapsed. Barcelona is one of my favorite cities on earth. I'd love to see it again. Oh well.
